James Ebert, AIF ®, is a financial advisor with Financial Planning Suite, Inc., an independent wealth advisory firm in Greater Hartford, Connecticut, and Groton, Massachusetts. For almost 40 years, Financial Planning Suite, Inc., has provided trustworthy wealth planning and investment advice specific to each client’s unique financial plan and goals.
As a fee-only advisor, James’s foremost goal is to help individuals, families, and nonprofits achieve financial clarity and make mindful decisions in service to their goals. A graduate of Yale, James has pursued advanced study at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) in asset and portfolio management and at Northwestern University’s CFP® certification program. He has earned the advanced credential of Accredited Investment Fidicuary®.
In addition to his professional work as an advisor, James has longstanding commitments to nonprofits. He previously served on the boards of the Yale Alumni Fund and the Renbrook School, and co-founded Hartford Cranksgiving, an annual bike race benefiting the Place of Grace Food Pantry in Hartford. He was a collegiate cyclist and remains an amateur bike racer with Team ERRACE, which supports Hartford Healthcare’s Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital.
